About Cast Youth Theatre

Three children playing with a giant piece of rainbow fabric, smiling.

Cast Youth Theatre is for Young people ages 3 – 26. Cast Youth Theatre is an exciting, high energy group combining fun drama activities and games, singing, dancing and imagination.

Cast Youth Theatre is for everyone; whether you are a complete beginner, want to build on your existing acting experience, or simply get to know other young people interested in theatre.

It's all about increasing confidence, boosting self-esteem and nurturing imagination through fun filled, games and role-play. Your child doesn't have to be a confident chatterbox or experienced in performing to take part. We welcome everyone to join in the fun.

Each term participants will create short pieces of drama to share with their families while developing their confidence and skills in performance. Every other year all Cast Youth Theatre groups work together to create a large-scale performance on the main stage at Cast.

How does my child join?

To join Cast Youth Theatre, simply click on the Youth Theatre links below; each link will take you to a page with a sign up link.  You will be asked to complete a Direct Debit form; once you've done this, you'll be asked to complete a participation form. Please complete this, as only children/young people with completed forms will be able to attend the Youth Theatre.
The week before sessions start you will receive a pre-term email with any information you'll need.

Bookings can be made on our website or through our Box Office – please see the links below for the correct group to book. This will be paid through direct debits of £20 per calendar month, on the first of each month, excluding payments in July and August.

If cost is a barrier to your child/young person taking part, please get in touch.  We are able to offer a range of options to support families who find the cost prohibitive, such as full bursary places, subsidised places, paying on a weekly rather than monthly basis etc.  We understand that people’s circumstances change, and we are happy to support if we can. Please email Justine@castindoncaster.com or call 01302 303 959 to speak to someone about this.
