Cast Youth Theatre is for everyone; whether you are a complete beginner, want to build on your existing acting experience, or simply get to know other young people interested in theatre.
It's all about increasing confidence, boosting self-esteem and nurturing imagination through fun filled, games and role-play. Your child doesn't have to be a confident chatterbox or experienced in performing to take part. We welcome everyone to join in the fun.
Each term participants will create short pieces of drama to share with their families while developing their confidence and skills in performance. Every other year all Cast Youth Theatre groups work together to create a large-scale performance on the main stage at Cast.
How does my child join?
Bookings can be made on our website or through our Box Office – please see the links below for the correct group to book. This will be paid through direct debits of £20 per calendar month, on the first of each month, excluding payments in July and August.
If cost is a barrier to your child/young person taking part, please get in touch. We are able to offer a range of options to support families who find the cost prohibitive, such as full bursary places, subsidised places, paying on a weekly rather than monthly basis etc. We understand that people’s circumstances change, and we are happy to support if we can. Please email Justine@castindoncaster.com or call 01302 303 959 to speak to someone about this.

No audition is required for any group.
Young people attend sessions on their own, apart from Sparkles where they will need to be joined by a parent, guardian or carer.
If you or your young person are unsure if this class is right for them, try a free taster session, so you can have a go before committing to the full year.
Taster sessions are available to book at the start of most terms, please contact Box Office on 01302 303 955 or email Justine@castindoncaster.com for more information.
